Determination of a Student's Need for AIM
Recorded: September 28, 2011
For some students, print curriculum materials present barriers to learning. Determining a student's need for AIM is the first step in the process of ensuring that curriculum materials are in a format that the student can use, including digital text, audio, large print, or braille. The determination is a team decision-making process. The presenters will describe the key elements of that process, including team membership and the sources of student data that need to be considered. The webinar will provide scenarios and resources for school teams and families.
For background knowledge on AIM and an overview of the framework of this webinar series, it is highly recommended that registrants view the archived recording of the June 8, 2011, webinar, "Introduction to AIM for All Maine Learners."
